Welcome to Castles in the Sky! This is the second version of a different Harry Potter site that lasted for over two years. The four admins came up with the idea of making a newer and much better plot for the site and here we are. To make sure that this paragraph stays slim, please read the rest of it down in the Credits part of this menu. And with that, we'd like to welcome you once again to Castles in the Sky and we hope that you join the site and become a part of our family.
And one final note, this site is like our child, please respect it and follow the rules we have set up. We have set this site up for the entertainment of role players around the world who love the Harry Potter Universe as much as we do. Don't come into our neighborhood and start fights and/or be disrespectful, because it'll be the quickest way you get tossed out.
GRAND OPENING MAY 25 AFTER 16 DAYS OF HARD WORK!
The setting currently stands in the month of September in the year 2015. The weather is hot and sticky, but is starting to cool down. Students have recently arrived at Hogwarts to begin their education.
EVERY 500 POSTS THAT ARE MADE ON THE SITE WILL CAUSE THE SITE TO MOVE AHEAD ONE MONTH FOR THE SETTING. IF 500 COMES TO QUICKLY, THE NUMBER WILL BE RAISED.

First off, we'd like to thank J. K. Rowling for her brilliant idea for the Harry Potter Universe. Without her, none of the Harry Potter sites would be alive and running. Secondly, we'd like to thank Jenna for coming up with the new and updated plot. Without her brilliant plotting abilities, this site would, well, it wouldn't be anything. Third, we'd like to thank Chris for going through and creating the obnoxiously long canon list; he worked very hard on combining J. K. Rowling's canon characters as well as the characters being brought over from the original site. Next, we'd like to thank Missy for pulling the site together and making it look the way that it does. ( Please note that she'll be terribly angry, which is something that you don't want to happen, if you steal everything that she's done. If you want her to help you out with something, simply ask! ) Next, we'd like to thank Emma for bringing up the rear and putting together all of the claim lists. Without those lists, things can get pretty confusing around here, which is something none of us would like. And finally, we'd all like to thank the coders who have created the codes that are present on the site. Without them, Missy would have had to do a lot more work in order to come up with them.
If you are working on a profile to be approved, you are to post it here. When you are done, you are to post in the title that you are done, because none of us are mind readers to tell if you are or not. Plus, we don't have the time to go searching around for completed profiles.
The Dungeons can be a very creepy place, even though many students have to come down here all the time; Slytherin students for their common room, all students for their Potions classes, and teachers, to talk to Professor Snape in his office.
The cellar is home to the Hufflepuff Common Room and for the longest time, they were the only students ever to use the cellar. But about a decade ago, when the student hang out room was built in, students from all houses began to mingle to the cellar.
The Ground Floor consists of the Entrance Hall, where First Years father before entering the Great Hall to be sorted and then eat. Also located here is mean Mr. Filch's office and Classroom Eleven - the second Divinations classroom.
You don't see too many wandering students here, because they're either injured and heading to the Hospital Wing or going to one of two classes, Muggle Studies or History of Magic.
The Second Floor is typically where most of the trouble starts. It is the only floor in the whole castle that really doesn't have much going on, only because the main attraction here, is Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.
Did you come to see the shiny trophy's in the Trophy Room? What about to wander down the corridor that's off limits to students. Nah, we knew that that wasn't on your agenda. We all know that you've come to the third floor like a good student and reporting to class for Charms or Defense Against the Arts.
The fourth floor is major attraction from students, but at the same time, it really isn't. Students that care about their grades are typically found here the most often. Many of those students are typically Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs.
Many students simply pass the fifth floor on their way to somewhere else. The only students that really come here are Quidditch Captains, Prefects, and the Head Boy and Girl.
Yes, the sixth floor is mainly dedicated to just bathrooms for the students of Hogwarts. Although, these bathrooms are huge and can fit many people in each one.
Student will be able to see Hogwarts denizens page for artwork around this floor - among other things, there is a statue of Lachlan the Lanky just to the right of the stairs leading down to the sixth floor and a suit of armor somewhere along the detour to the Room of Requirement, the entrance to which is across the corridor from a tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy.
The Towers are amongst the most interesting places in the castle. Two of the towers are for the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw common rooms, one of the towers houses the Owlery, one of the towers is a nice place to come and star gaze, and the last tower is for the Astronomy classes.
The United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy and unitary state consisting of four countries: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It is governed by a parliamentary system with its seat of government in London, the capital, but with three devolved national administrations in Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh, the capitals of Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland respectively.
If you need your character to be able to travel around the world, use this board. Instead of making seventy others for specific places, a general one like this has been made.
Feel like role playing something that may have happened in the past with your character? Or maybe you'd like to role play something that may happen in the future? This is the place to do it.
